Acton Notebook is a new website for the W3 neighbourhood.

Our mission is to ’empower local’ by connecting businesses to the community and people to one another. We are looking forward to building a dynamic and inspirational website for Acton W3, and we hope it will become an online hub for local business news, reviews, events and useful bits of information. In the business directory section you’ll be able to search by term, area or category, for everything from local plumbers and cleaners to interior designers and builders.

Our blog will be powered by local people who are passionate about creating a sense of community and opportunities in our area.

We are not politically affiliated but will commit ourselves to finding creative ways to engage with local residents, business owners, the local council, project leaders, community groups and the Acton BID to support our local businesses, charities and community projects.

The site will evolve as ideas and opportunities are presented to us and we welcome you to contact us if you are interested in being a part of it. We are open to all kinds of content submissions/ideas but keen to keep stories, insightful, educational and up-lifting.

If you are a business in Acton or surrounding areas you can claim or add your listing. By adding your business you will be able to reach new customers and will also be supporting us to support Acton to thrive as a neighbourhood.

We’ve been offering a social media service for free for the last two years. We are now switching to a paid service, not only to make it sustainable but also so we can build on what we’ve achieved. A small monthly subscription will ensure you are visible in the directory and also on our social media feeds.

We offer all local business a FREE listing on our website, we will still offer free social media promotional services but this will be limited to; charities, social enterprises, community initiatives. For all other businesses to gain exposure in our social media feeds you can gain enhanced visibility by subscribing to our standard or premium subscription fee.

Thank you for reading if you got this far, we hope you will join and support us on our journey.
