Acton Homeless Concern are a local charity with drop-in day centres serving hot meals & drink. Their summer support project will help local families in need over the summer holidays.
The project started on Friday 17th July. Free takeaway packed lunches will be available every Tuesday and Friday from 11.30 – 13.30 until the schools go back.
To maintain social distancing around Emmaus House, volunteers will be distributing food and more from the entrance of the OLOL Church hall in Oldham Terrace, W3 6NH (opposite Acton Mosque).
There will be no need to register and everyone is welcome. It will also be an opportunity for families to access other services if they wish. For more details call Ian on 02089925768
The summer support service is in addition to their continuing response to the economic consequences of COVID-19. Acton Homeless Concern regular services are carrying on as normal in Emmaus House and the Damien Centre. If you know anyone in need please direct them to these services.
